Jacque, the owner of Bushpower started off by taking us through the different aspects which make up dual battery systems, including the types of batteries, size, monitoring and the charging and maintenance of them, he also touched on the future of deep cycle batteries, which it seems will be lithium-ion.
We than went on to learn about solar regulators, DC to DC charging systems and ran through the different types of panels and what wattage is required for a typical setup, one size does not fit all however Bushpower are always available to advise if you’re looking at setting up a new system for your offroad trailer/caravan or Landy.
A big thank you to everyone who attended and especially to Jacque and team from Bushpower for presenting such an interesting topic to the club and fielding all our questions.
