Sat, 30 June 9am - Driver Training - Module 1: Fundamentals of Off-road Driving
The next driver training will be held on the Saturday prior to the winter trial. This module is ideal for new members but also open to all members who just want to brush up on their off-road driving skills or simply get to know their vehicles’ capabilities better. The training will be focused on the theoretical aspect of off-road driving in the morning and there will be an opportunity to practice your skills on obstacles in the afternoon under the competent supervision of the driver trainers.
Training will commence at 9am and should finish by no later than 4pm. Please bring a chair, refreshments and light lunch.
Sat, 30 June 9am - Mountain Drive
We will explore the trail which winds though the river bed in the morning starting at 9am, there are plenty of obstacles to choose from, advanced to relatively easy. After which we will stop off in the shade of the river bed and have lunch, please bring a packed lunch along for this.
After lunch we will drive out to the infamous Koos se Klim where anyone feeling up to task may try their hand at this obstacle or try the bypass route to get to the top and enjoy the incredible views. Than it’s back to camp in time to participate in the annual night trial.
Sun, 1 July 8.30am - Winter Trial
Held under the competent supervision of the LROC marshals. The trial is an ideal way to help you boost your confidence when driving your vehicle through typical off-road obstacles and have a lot of fun while doing it.

R55 for school children. Limited power points. Hot showers and good ablution facilities.
