Join us for what has become an annual event near Loskop Dam for another fun-filled weekend on the banks of the Olifants River. This is one of the most beautiful campsites in this part of the world and the Mountain drive on the Saturday promises to be the highlight of the trip.
We will visit the farm Diepkloof which offers relaxed scenic mountain drives suitable for all vehicles. We depart at 09:00 in convoy and you may pack a picnic basket for a lunch break. We should be back in camp by 15:00 and you return to camp at your own pace.
Alternative activities you may consider to pay the nearby Loskop Nature Reserve a visit or simply stay in camp and enjoy the facilities available.
All are welcome to spend Saturday evening around the Kalahari TV on the banks of the Olifants River and your bag of wood will help to keep it going.
Sunday will be spent at your own leisure.
Please be aware that we camp next to the Olifants River and you will have to take protective measures against mosquitoes.
Camping and accommodation fees will be collected at the venue by the owner on arrival and those for the mountain drive will be collected on departure on Saturday morning. Camping and accommodation fees must not be paid to LROC.
A final e-mail will be sent to those who have booked, with the gate code, etc.
Looking forward to seeing you under the big tree!
