Everyone is itching to get out there, even more so the Landies that have been deprived of off-road action over the past few months. We plan on changing that with a quick and eventful outing to Hennops off-road trail. The trail has something for everyone and will be led by the driver trainer who will be at your beck and call for everything off road related. The aim of the day is to get out into the bush, away from the hustle and bustle to use your Land Rover as it was meant to be. As with all the events hosted by the Land Rover Owners Club of Southern Africa, we love a good braai and this event will be no different albeit with a few social distancing policies in place. Join us for a fun day out where you can test your Landy amongst friends and fellow LROC members that are always willing to help and offer advice.
The day will start with a quick driver briefing at 8h00 promptly followed by vehicle prep where needed such as airing down tyres, tying down loose items etc. The convoy will be led by the Driver trainer and the tail end of the convoy will be manned by a member well versed in off-roading. If you are in possession of a VHF radio please do bring it along as it makes logistics much easier, we will be using ORRA channel 3. We will be having a braai halfway through the trail to take a breather and socialize with other members. Thereafter we will enjoy the rest of the trail at a leisurely pace taking in all the scenery has to offer.
