On instructions from SWAMBO, we are getting a Defender, so the Disco has to go.
It’s a 2004 Disco2 Td5 GS AT, with 163Kkm. It has full OME suspension, drawer system (with water tank), BFG AT tyres (approx 30%-20% left), custom bullbar & back bumper (with hi-lift points), Spots, Little Black Box & Madman EGT monitoring systems, LED worklight.
It comes with a Motorite Warranty which expires in March 2011, and a Tracker unit (can either keep or I will swap to new vehicle).
The exterior is a bit scratched, courtesy of some offroad adventures, but the vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition - I service it every 10Kkm and change oil every 5Kkm with a landy expert (Schalk Burger 4x4 in Strand). CDL, TC, ABS, HDC, auto gearbox all working with now issues whatsoever.
Since I got it in Feb 2009, I have spent approx R18K fixing up things and the vehicle is now in much better shape than when I got it. For example, the dual battery system has recently been overhauled with a new solenoid and new 102Ah Deltec deep cycle battery.
Full disclosure on my part, with all invoices and receipts available. She is my daily drive and I really am sad to let her go, but we do not have enough parking space for 3 vehicles in our complex.
